Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day December 2017

Northeast Mississippi, USA zone 7

After our nighttime temperatures dropped to 21F (-6C) I was afraid I would not find any blooms. But I did - a wildflower blooming in the shelter of our porch!

Foliage Follow-Up Day
And when I checked the Hellebores, I found new growth - a promise of blooms to come!

Happy Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day!

  1. It's 7 above right now with some snow on the ground, so nothing in bloom outdoor - the Christmas Rose has buds but I wasn't going to go out there. Enjoyed your wildflower. Happy GBBD!

  6. I like the little wildflower peeking up from a sheltered place. The Helebores are fun to look forward to at this time of year and it’s nice to see new growth in the cold of winter. Keep warm!
